XD A really fortunate thing I've discovered in the past few days is that not only have I had a bit of success winter shroom-hunting... before I could even get around to working on my spring plans for mushie cultivation, some Wood Ears and Enokitake (Velvet Shank) have decided to take up residence in a downed tree in my own backyard.
The Wood Ears in particular are MASSIVE specimens. This guy was 5 and a half inches across. Plenty enough in a single fruit to make a whole pan of soup. XD
