Red Threat
I have recently come upon an illustration presented as a "political tickling picture".
So I tried to do something similar: mixing tickling and political references...
It is strange, despite all my efforts, this drawing still remains a simple furry tickling picture.
Nothing more, nothing less... Who would complain anyway?!
CREDITS β Pif le Chien (Spiff) was created by the Spanish cartoonist C. Arnal.
- PS - I usually put a filter on this kind of picture. Lets make an exception this time!

I should confess that I didn't know that. After a quick search, I found the 6 pages comic :

According to Corteggiani, this story was drawn by the great Albert Uderzo himself !

Aww! I love this! :D He's so very cute, both in expression and those ticklish-looking footpaws! I really like the little bit of panic to him and how his feet look like they're trying to shake away from the feather ;) Great callback to a very cute scene/character, and I'm glad that you didn't filter this one in your gallery!
Thank you! I am glad you like it.
I still believe that the most important in this kind of picture is the facial expression.
Of course, for obvious reasons, I also focus on paws, yet the eyes bring a lot...
Again thank you for noticing it. Moreover, I quite like this "vintage" character.
By the way, I have got a mug with this character printed on it I use at work during tea time.
I bought it at the FΓͺte de l'Huma : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/F%C3%.....7Humanit%C3%A9
Historically, Pif (Spiff) the dog will always be associated to the French Communist Party.

But the interpretation is obvious!
The red feather represents Communism propaganda in all its evilness...
The dog is a reference to the Chinese new year that has just started.
The rope are the symbol of the mental fetter brought by lies and ideologies.
HEY JUST LOOK AT THESE EVIDENCES! EVERYTHING IS SO BL***Y CONNECTED!!!
YET THIS TRUTH IS HIDDEN BY SOLD OUT POLITICIANS JUST TO KEEP US IGNORANT!
