a character for my MLP AU. I'll be talking more about him once I start the Broken Worlds AU story and comics but basically after a near death experience, princess Celestia realized that she wouldn't be around forever and when that time comes a new alicorn must take her place. She came to the conclusion that she must do what is best for her kingdom. After spending years collecting artifacts of magic and power, she conducted a spell that would combine them and her own power to make a newborn alicorn, all that was left was for DawnHeart, was to awaken and learn about the world. DawnHeart lived an odd life, since he wasn't born naturally, Celestia wasn't as bonded to him as a normal mother would be. He suffered mentally knowing that he wasn't born of love but of need. He takes his job seriously, he was made to defend the kingdom and he'll die doing so. As a teen, Dawn was very unstable, this was when Celestia bonded with him more and they connected the most. Princess Luna wasn't exactly sure about how to act with Dawn around but in the end she ended up trying her best to be an aunt.
