An older, post-Academy Naruko.

During Naruko’s time in the Ninja Academy, she had to deal with a lot of initial awkwardness of suddenly being a frog, which only added a bit onto her already social outcast existence. Still, she managed to keep up her spirits, though it might have led to her being even more on the loud and boisterous side.

While in the Academy, Naruko also received training from the Toads of Mt. Myoboku on the side, as well as had frequent interactions with Jiraiya. This led to her being a bit more prepared for things at the Academy, and prevented her from being nothing more than Dead Last. Jiraiya, noticing her issues with creating clones due to Chakra reserves, had even taught her the Shadow Clone technique. Needless to say, a Naruto of any kind with access to Shadow Clones during the Academy days is bound to lead to lots of trouble.

Thanks to her supplemental training, Naruko was actually capable of forming an actual rivalry with Sasuke, with the two constantly butting heads and trying to outdo the other. Naruko would also constantly attempt to try and hang out with him just to try and change his gloomy demeanor, even trying to drag him off for some ramen. Sasuke found her to be an annoying loudmouth, but deep down began to enjoy the friendship with someone who was capable of pushing his skills.

After graduation, Naruko ended up being placed on a team with Shino and Hinata. The belief was that her clones and camouflage capability were things that could go along well with scouting. Her aquatic capabilities, long tongue, toxins, and even her ability to spit out sticky oil to immobilize targets were also useful on such a team.

Underneath her outfit, Naruko wears a specialized wetsuit. Small pores located across the suit allows her to secrete body oils and toxins. Due to her oils mixing into her clothing, her clothing is capable of camouflaging itself along with her body.
