Here are some headshots of North Wind from another of Don Bluth's cancelled films. It is based on the Norwegian tale "East of the Sun and West of the Moon." It is one of the main animated films I wish had seen the light of day. There's seems to be next to no art or concepts of it, but there was one concept showing this character, who is a blue skinned, white haired giant of some kind in an ice cavern. From the story, and since the princess of the story doesn't seem to be afraid, it would make sense that it is North Wind, who aids her. But it is possible that it was some kind of Ice Troll. And since the character does have a crown in the concept, it could be the Troll King or a complete new character. But I am going with the North Wind. Will definitely be drawing more of this character.
