“So— when we leavin’?” asked Leaf.
Rohana narrowed her eyes, looking deep into Leaf’s. “Now!” she barked unexpectedly, and then dashed out of the hollow.
The learners exchanged quick glances and then hurtled after her. They streamed through the forest, gaining on Rohana bit by bit. Instinct drove Earth to gain speed, closing in on Rohana from behind. When she was close enough, Earth leaped up into the air, and went flying forward. Rohana skidded to a halt and Earth went tumbling head over heals.
