Little secret? I *love* Legend of Mana. I got sick of painting without any real goal, so with this one, my campaign to really dive in and *learn*, aiming for the LoM style, has begun.

I landed a bit off the mark, but I think at this point I didn't have words for what the LoM style *is*. So I didn't have tutorials or anything. I guess mainly this was a test of harsher colors, though I did shake up her hair a lot more than normal. LoM really likes curly hair, so I guess that was my jumping off point.

The pose is super unbalanced, but I think I like the proportions here. And hell, the hand on her staff? Probably the best I've ever drawn up to now.
