This here's Ruby, my fire mage daughter. By miles one of the oldest characters I have and still use relatively often.

I made this back in Sept '17, one of the earlier serious attempts at painting. I'd been at it for a couple months, but this is one of the first few I was really proud of. And honestly, maybe not enough time has passed, but I'm still proud of it. It's a strong pose, action isn't horribly stiff, and most importantly it really broke me out of my lower confidence with art. It helped me start seeing that I'm better than my sketches and inks.
