I LOVE it when the children get into it. Most times they just enjoy being around the fursuits because they're different. (Well, soft, fluffy, and mostly non threatening looking too.)

You got it. While it's a blast being in suit out in public, it's much more important to present a good face to the public. Positive PR is crucial. A picture like this can undo the damage that ignorance through things like CSI can cause.
