Voluptuous Latex
Item: Dalini Bustier
Model: Charlene Tobyet
I'm doing a personal project that will put my graphic design skills to the test. Working on a ad for a clothing brand that'll be seen throughout my stories. Just to give a more a feel of the universe that's around the characters. In this case I'm working on a latex clothing brand called Voluptuous Latex. Latex is still a taboo in the future. Anyway, I'll be doing a series of "photo shoots" so this is one set of the "photo" sets I have coming. Once I am done I will put together as an advertisement to their website/store/etc
I am very happy how this turned out. I was experimenting new techniques for shading, highlighting, and lineart. I tried using the erasing techniques on the lineart where the hardest light hits so that it feels a little more realistic. Interesting take, but I don't know if I still see myself still using it. I also used a different technique in handling the latex. Normally I use about 70%-80% black (or grey) for base and then do a reversal shading in by highlighting first to white and then shade underneath. This time I did 100% black and used various shades of grey for highlighting.
