In the wake of the tragic mass shooting at a high school in Parkland, Florida (not far from my own home in Margate), I'd decided to post my bobcat 'fursona' wearing a special T-shirt - in an act of mourning the lost of seventeen individuals.
Unlike previous images of 'Rob' wearing a similar tee, in the wake of many international tragedies, the shirt he is wearing has the name "PARKLAND" standing alone.
Anyone who wishes to follow this ongoing news story, can check out my current journal "So Close To Home" at this link: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/8622238/ . I'll be adding more details, as time following this Valentines Day disaster progresses...

Aww... I feel the pain with you Rob. Considering the news, the incident in Parkland Florida hit me pretty hard as I had just returned from a day at the movies with Fred and Sherry, then a little shopping, and despite the harrowing drive on the 134 back to Pasadena, I got back to Schirm's place feeling pretty good. I had just seen that new "Peter Rabbit" movie, and so I got on line to do a write up for my friends, and the images on the Net assaulted my eyes with scenes of grief and horror. It sure knocked the "Wind out of my sails" let me tell you. To make matters worse, the news station I like to listen to keeps reporting on the incident again and again every 15 minutes.
