The large, orange dragon lazed about in the midday sun, seemingly oblivious to your watching eyes in the underbrush. When he'd shown up you couldn't say. All you know was that he had been there when you woke up. Quietly you try to slink away but, suddenly, he moves. Rolling back onto his feet and stretching he yawns wide, revealing rows of dagger-like teeth that glint in the dappled light. Flaring his wings and flapping them experimentally a few times he heads for the cliff edge. For a moment he glances out over the forest seemingly ready to take wing. You let out the breath you didn't realize you were holding. He's going to leave. You weren't seen! Quickly, you turn to leave.
"It's not polite to sneak around like that?" the words have to be directed at you, there's nobody else here. Embarrassed, you turn back and see the orange scaled beast looking over his shoulder, a draconic grin writ large on his face, smug as ever about having found you out. His wings snap out to his sides and he beckons with the tip of one. "Well, you coming?"
