Story Time:

and I are planning to go to Megaplex and Zinny said he also wanted to be a dealer and that we should share a table together. I liked the idea and told him I'd keep an eye out for details when they come up.

Well, the registration and booking for a hotel all opened as early as mid January and I didn't find out about it until early February, so by then, hotel rooms at the main hotel have all already been booked and the registration for tables have all been booked as well.

I was freaking out, I reached out to Zinny as soon as I could. Keep in mind this is 1am my time and about 12pm his time so I expected to get a response back, but I forgot the possibility of him being at work too. XD
So I texted Megaplex at their twitter account while simultaneously booking a hotel room at the main hotel still. The good thing is people do cancel their rooms often for cons so the likely chance of me calling and asking to have the room get the code applied to our room for the room block was very high.

Megaplex did get back to me saying that they could neither confirm nor deny whether we could get a table or not and proceeded to send a gif of Rocket Raccoon winking. I knew I had to act NOW!

I opened the registration form and filled it out as best I could, problem was much of the information had to be put in right then and there and could not be modified at a later date. This included using an image that would be used for your store on their website and conbook, a website, a title for your business and description for your store. I tried to reach out to Zinny about all of this and was still not getting anything back. XD

So I had to do this all on my own, again, keep in mind it's now 3am my time XD

Well this image you're seeing is the store imagine along with the title of our business I came up with and submitted. I told Zinny about it and thankfully he was okay with all of it.

The following Sunday, I checked my email and it said my registration was successful, I assumed this was just confirming that I submitted the form, not saying I got the table.

I texted Megaplex on twitter one more time to find out, and sure enough, they did confirm that we got a table for Megaplex. ^^
