This is probably one of the best Dragon Transformations I've seen you draw yet. I guess the added element of color really makes it stand out. I also like your idea that even though the Wizard character using a crystal ball to communicate with a friend who's using an iPhone is pretty clever.
These pages went relatively quick, maybe 5-7 hours each including sketching and inking. That's comparable to recent Dragon Problems pages and significantly faster than the 12 or so hours I average on Crimson Flag pages (granted, we have less background detail here too). I like the flat color format and will probably be using it again!
I think I've gushed about this comic enough as it is, but y'know...just in case?
This thing's amazing, obviously. There's so many great firsts in here! Turnin' Virmir all Dragonair-y in here, doing the first...questionably...enjoyable TF for our favorite G-rated fox? Plus, there's so much fun with the intensity during it all! The initial reaction, the 'oh trees the tail is STILL GOING WHY?!' expression, and, of course, SmugKeys here. The dumbfounded reaction at the unexpected 'not bad, actually' still makes me crack up. Ever-confident Keys, '...wait, what?'
The range of comical facial expressions is, as ever, a delight. The cartoony style is just perfect for all these great shenanigans.
Of course, thank you. Thank you so much for this whole thing. Iunno what possessed you to draw this bit of comic in the first place, but man do I appreciate it.
Back to beta testing on those collars, then! We'll need at least a 7.5/10 before public release...
