Did this one awhile back. I'm not real happy with it overall but it was fun playing around with it in Photoshop. I was trying out some new things I had read about lighting and shadow, and I think they have helped improved my understanding of how these two elements work. But as always I'm still learning.

Heh, well thank you, I guess we all got to start somewhere eh? And yeah, as hard as they are to figure out, it has been worthwhile studying them and the experience has definitely opened my eyes a bit. Honestly if nothing else, trying to learn them has given me a new appreciation of other peoples work.
It does doesn't it? Make you view other pieces with a new eye and understanding at just how difficult or simple that said piece is. I honestly am still working on my lighting especially with photoshop some of us just get it while the rest of us tend to struggle and go wtf when we are trying to figure that program out^^;
Yeah I definitely know what your sayin' about photoshop. Somedays it'll all be going smooth, and the next you couldn't get it to work to save your life. I think it's almost too intense a program for how I use it, but I've already grown accustom to it so I guess I'll just stick it out.
