Cronch's ability to eat anything and her unusual tusks are a result of her getting kidnapped and genetically altered by some aliens. She escaped after realizing that they were going to turn her into the perfect weapon. This is what she would have become if she failed her escape, but luckily she did. Now this beast only exists in her nightmares.
