Funny thing is the manga finally got around to deeply explain that dragon's human forms are mostly just an illusion. Think Steven Universe; the Crystal Gem's human forms are not entirely real and just an illusion, this works in a similar manner to the dragons.

Yeah, no problem. In case you're wondering, or if anyone else stumbles upon this, it's Chapter 54. There's a bit of lore about the dragons in Other World, like the concept of a child and adult don't apply to them, for example.
