God of Serpents (sketch)

Sketch for a painting I plan to do (some day). I did what the Hindus do and put multi arms on him to represent his different aspects (that's why they are just all coming out of the same shoulder, no try at anatomical psuedo-science here). His aspects are, from left top arm going around clockwise - Food (rat), Warmth (the sun), Regeneration/Healing (shed skin), and Fertility (egg). He is not based on any particular snake, since he is a God and represents all snakes.

Lovely sketch and intepretion of a snake god! Hope to see more of Nagas; mainly because the ones that do flit around just aren't 'snakey' enough IMO...and well, that kinda defeats the purpose being part snake and all. I always liked how you used dreds for their 'hair'.

Your skill with drawing hands astounds me.

This is a truly beautiful idea...I love how the rat is curled up in a circular shape like the other aspects.
