Free art is free art, afterall…
While dreams of doing my own comic are more often then not, blown to smithereens because of very low ambition and a horrible case of inherited procrastination that’s almost crippling, at the very least I can enjoy other peoples comics! One of many which I enjoy on a regular basis, thanks to the hard-working, ever vigilant and oh so ludicrously talented (why no, I’m not sucking up at all)
rftigermode, artist and creator of ‘Pride of Life’. While I’ll confess to being a late-bloomer far as fans go, I’ve always marveled at his work, and eventually started following the comic. Were it not without one very burly and bullying bird however, Nickles, I’m not sure I’d be quit as enthralled with it (well, maybe only a smidgen less)
Weather he’s kicking the utter bejezus out of Kedamono (or at least trying to), posing in nothing but his skivvies, being tickled by an mischievous fox, or getting in, and out of various comic capers, you can’t help but love him, be slightly attracted, and disappointed that ‘he doesn’t swing that way’.

I'm sure if you were offering enough $$$$ he'd go ahead and entertain the idea. Then....he'd invite you over alone to hear your offer and then...
...he'd beat you to a pulp and then steal all your money. If you were lucky enough to survive maybe he'd warn you against being such a naive idiot into thinking he'd EVER entertain such thoughts. If not (or maybe if you were lucky) he'd just break your neck.
Still, doesn't mean those of us with those tendencies and thoughts well doesn't mean we can't admire those muscles from a-far. Very, VERY a-far.

I -am- quite pleased you notice the wings in particular, normally I struggle with appendages like that terribly, But with Nickles they actually came easy for once! So, I'm quite grateful they did as I can at least look back on one or two artistic triumphs like that.
