This is one of a series of free commissions done for my friends in the summer of 2008 to build my portfolio. This is my friend Jen with her then-current boyfriend, surrounded by lovely sushi! After I did this piece, I made the individual sushi into buttons, which I sell at conventions if I have an Artist Alley table.
