Birds of prey are very cool creatures indeed! Is there any in particular you like looking at more than the others?

Eagles certainly. And we have a few red kites near to where I live, always nice to see those gliding about ^^

I'm sure! It is always fun to watch them circling in the sky. We get a lot of hawks out here, though every once in a while there'll be a golden or bald eagle perched on a fence post or telephone pole. <3

awr wow, over here golden eagles are very rare, and they can only be found in the most remotest places, so it would be incredibly lucky to see one.

I have seen some large vultures in flight, which are just as impressive. ^^

Yep, they are pretty neat birds themselves! There is an old radio tower in town and every year you can see the turkey vultures soaring around and roosting on it, I find it to be a comforting sight.

I think were up the mountainous areas on crete, in Greece. Must be awesome to have such majestic creatures locally.

That must have been some sight! I'm sure it is, some of those old world vultures are a lot bigger than any of our turkey vultures. The only bird that might come close to them in size would the California condor, though all their range is farther west, so I've only seen them in museums.
