So anybody who's followed me recently knows my personal 'Sona, Guy. The pink moth plastered all over my userpage.
however, he didn't always look like that. Years ago he was actually part of a webcomic I kept trying to get off the ground called "Moth Logic." Which followed him getting into some shenanigans with a cast of other bug characters. And developing a romance with a jumping spider named Jazz. In retrospect, it's no surprise the comic never got past a couple pages any time that I tried. Because I never planned it out, I never really had a specific story in mind, I'd just make it up as I went and eventually I wouldn't really know what to do with it. Or I'd make some really out-of-character decisions.
Since then, I've just drawn various members of the cast as characters in single images rather than do anything in comic form. They've gone through redesigns and background overhauls and sometimes characters just straight up faded into obscurity. But despite all that, I still have a lot of love for these two in their original incarnation. Where Guy is kind of a nondescript grey moth and Jazz is a generically designed jumping spider. They were the first bug characters I really came up with and paired together. They also still have the most developed stories than any of my other bug characters, so I still like to think about them now and then. And even continue their stories a little in my head, although I've yet to commit any of it to paper yet.

oh and real quick, how's this colored-sketch thing I'm doin'? I like it, but I know it's probably less visibly palatable than clean lineart.
