This is my OC: Rave (as a merman obviously).
I have drawn Rave before as a merune almost exactly two years
and a half years ago: Part Of My World and oh my
god the difference '0'
I am really proud of myself; I had a lot of fun making this and found that underwater
backgrounds are probably my favorites to do. Or at least are some of the most enjoyable.
I was going to keep track of how much time I spent on it, but between all the obstacles such
as hurricane Irma that didn't work out so much. So all I can say is I worked off and on it for
around a month.
Rave is a type of being whom can survive in the darkest depths of the ocean and the shallows,
this is because in his family tree they merged deep water merpeople with those who thrived in the
shallow warmer waters. This also is why he has his trade mark luminescent glow that would normally
be only found in deep water fish. He, however, by just preference would sooner be found in the shallows.
Where he can enjoy one of his favorite pass-times, people watching. More specifically, watching a soldier
do his daily work outs with his crew (Alexander).
Much like any other rendition, Rave keeps his personality of being kind but mischievous; he is actually a
rather good hunter, quite the explorer, and is very fast (although his brother is faster). He and his twin brother,
both eventually get into the habit of exploring the land of man. Bending the rules of what they know, and
eventually change them more than they expected.
