Two questions I have:
A) Wouldn’t the Italians take Germans currency since they were allies in WW2?
B) Is this an Italian restaurant on a Russian train? Or did they invade Italy?

Being I'm the "railroading lion" I will note while dining cars have "Stewards", who act like maître d's, they do not dress as such, at least in the U.S. Still a pretty fancy dinig car in Russia during WWII. :=3
