My instrumental demo of "Disconnected" (from Payload) prior to the decision to have Exit Mouse and Another Ambient August add parts to it, which led me to rearrange it significantly. It only became a vocal song after Chester Bennington died, when me and the others felt it would make a good tribute.

The song was inspired by Linkin Park's A Light That Never Comes as well as the types of demos found on their LP Underground CDs.
