And no, this was taken at a zoo, where the enclosure is not one of complete darkness as often found, and the bats have become accustomed to a lot of people going by and the flash of cameras.

Ah, that makes sense. I kind of had this image of the photographer taking the picture and then running for there life as a swarm of angry bats attempted to engulf them.

flying foxes usually dont mind flashes like other bats thuogh :)...they are diurnal after all ;)

I believe it only goes by the reference of group, and is merely a generic account used for a particular purpose. Sort of like how the have 'groups' for specific themes, such as:

 straight_furries
 gay_furry
 iloveyiff
:canadianfurs:
:iowafurs:
etc...

I don't really know how all of these work, for sharing info with one another. But it is nice to see people having actual themed accounts, instead of just user accounts.

Hehe. Yeah, I just wish the upper ones were a bit more in focus. Even though not completely dark, it was still too dark for the auto-focus to work, so I had to wing it with manual focus.
Of course, my biggest wish would be to be able to go into the enclosure with all those adorable bats. :D
