I live in a tropic region where there's no snow. What does it feel like?

i'm from a hot desert and i say it's pretty nice to see but not exactly touch

cold is just something i'm not used to but some people do like it, sooo

i am from the desert but i moved a couple months back, it snowed today and it has an interesting feel to it coldness aside
it isnt very soft but not exactly hard either until you pack it together so snowballs can actually hurt if you get one thrown at you hard enough

I live in a place it snows often, but I never really thought about it. I'm going to try.
I guess the weight+Texture is like sand and cotton had a baby, but the cold Stings like hot water if you stick your hand in it; without the sweat or burn you get from hot water.
Catching snowflakes feels like nothing, but a small cold drop forms after it melts. If you stay out in it for long bare handed/footed and come back inside,
the places the snow touched can feel big and swollen from the blood rushing momentarily. If you are wearing full snow gear and lay down in a snow pile,
even though it is cold it feels like a pile of blankets holding you; Comfy.
