Nara doesn't know how he came to be in Gensokyo, and he's not really interested in finding out. Together with his friend Powrie, they're having fun looking for humans to eat. Although they attempt to eat the heroes, neither of them are very strong and they quickly surrender, deciding that it's better to live to fight another day. Neither of them know anything about the strange red mist coming from the lake.
