Dark thoughts make a dark mind.
For some people failure means the next time they try something, it will happen with the same results just like last time even if it wasn't even their fault or even in their hands. They let it stew and stew by keeping it up inside until it eventually becomes a second nature, automatic face value, a replacement of your conscience. "Why haven't I?" becomes "Why should I?", "I can" becomes "I don't know".
I'm not really sure if I'm coming off emo or not. =\ Don't mean to, just getting stuff off my shoulders on notonpaperbecauseImisplacedmypencil.

I think we all have personal demons locked away in some part of our mind. I've managed to silence some of mine with some self-help books, but there's a few that still linger; mostly appear after/during conversations, trying to figure out what I could have said better and whether or not I just made a fool out of myself. And before I sleep at night since I haven't made anything of myself yet, but I just put on music and a loud fan to drown them out. Playing along to my favorite songs seems to help get the rage out of me.
I have a quite a few problems that I don't like to talk about, but I'm just rambling now, ahahah. Anyway Jake, even though I don't know you that well enough yet, you seem like a pretty cool guy; it's good to get some things off your chest, so it's not really emo.
Anyway, best of luck buddy. You can do it, just try. c:
