Welcome to Frappuchinos! Now Serving: Grizzly Resolution
Art by
guardianmoose!
Tomorrow is the Final Frappuchino, and it'll be given to us with art from someone very special. It might not update as early as the last few have, so be patient!

Venti saw Charles's truck in the parking lot, and for once since the bear's return he didn't try to avoid him. This time he went in with the single-minded goal to find him.
It didn't take long, as the bear was doing squats with more weight than even Venti could handle. He envied the grizzly's strength for a heartbeat, then moved towards him. He waited patiently for Charles to finish his rep, then clapped softly. "I hate you damned powerlifters, you know that, right?"
Charles looked startled to hear Venti's voice, but recovered quickly with a laugh. "Aw, c'mon, pup. Yer a lot prettier than me at least."
"Can I talk to you in the locker room when you're done with your squats, Charles?"
Charles looked puzzled, but nodded amicably. "Sure, I'm already on my final rep. I'll be in there before you know it."
Venti moved into the locker room to get changed. He was early--Otis wasn't due to arrive for another ten minutes, just enough time to say what had to be said.
Charles entered the locker room, which was empty save for him and Venti, and sat down next to the jackal. "So whatcha need?"
"I know about you and Alexander." He figured he should just come clean and be out with it. He tried to keep his former dislike of Charles a secret, and it ended badly. No more secrets.
Charles, on the other hand, seemed to not have the same resolve as Venti. "Alexander? W-what're you talkin' about?"
"Look, you don't have to lie, Charles. I know you're dating him, and as long as he treats you good, I don't care. It's none of my business anyway." He placed his hands on Charles's shoulders. "You're a good guy, and as long as you're happy with him, my opinions don't mean anything," he said as he patted Charles's cheek. "That doesn't mean I want to double date with you and him. I hate the guy, but I don't hate you."
Charles sat there, the brief silence filled only by the sounds of metal on metal in the weight room before he said "I love you, pup."
"Love you too, bear."
