"So John. have you gotten your assignment yet?"
"Not yet, but I'll be asking Lieutenant Ferra about it before the toast. I'm not going to lie, I'm worried."
"What about?"
"Remember what Thomas said? About what's going to happen?"
"Between the Iconian invasion and the 'Tempral Liberation Front', how could I forget?"
"Sharla, I'm worried that one of us may get seriously hurt, or worse, killed."
"I am too, John. But as long as we're together, we'll push through what we can."
"You're right. As long as we're together. Computer, end program."


Man, my story-crafting has been getting rusty. So,  Kanou was having a couple YCH (not Valentines themed but perfect timing for one) and I was hoping for a chance to get some art for Sharla, so I decided to do so through this. And oh my GOD did she do a perfect job! Not gonna lie, this is the best piece I've commissioned thus far, and probably doesn't have much competition for quite some time!
