Playing more with ideas for Velokit's world setting- if you cna mix foxes and raptors, why not make sheep who have a bit of a dinosaur mix as well?
It also gives a good reason why they'd want something other than just dogs keeping an eye on them- they're bigger than usual sheep and sometimes a bit more mean tempered. Poor eyesight and strong defensive instinct can do that. But their wool is good and worth the effort.
