On a recent excursion to one of the neighboring planets, the Starfrog team were ask to explore an abandoned base. Every crew that was sent down there came back insane, giggling to themselves non-stop, sometimes taking weeks to calm down. Rumor has it, throughout the rambling, they were talking about a bizarre creature made from slime.
Morgana had the team split up through the multiple different sectors of the base, all of them turning up with no results, all except Sector 7, the sector Starfrog was supposed to search.
Starfrog was too busy chatting up the locals, so Morgana ordered the team back to the ship and to let Starfrog know he was going to get a referral for his actions. By this point, she'd been pretty much under the assumption nothing was in here. The full base scan revealed nothing, the base was functional, it was just going to be a quick check.
However, as she went to leave, the door would no longer open, and a gurgling noise could be heard in the open vents as green slime began pouring out, followed by a giant red eyeball. Morgana reached for her weapon to fire a lazer blast, only for it to be absorbed by the monster.
She attempted to run for the exit on the other side. The green light indicated that it was still active. But the monster expanded, filling up the corridor, and it's tentacles lashed out and grabbed her ankles. She tried to kick, punch, resist and scream for her team-mates, but the communicator and her gun were quickly absorbed by the monster.
It didn't take long before it started to rip her uniform in order to feel for any spots that might get a reaction. This type of monster feeds off of sweat and fiber, conveniently, and it knew the best way to get these substances to feed itself.
Morgana's race however, barely sweats, it mostly just drools (which will work, but the monster doesn't know to go for it's victim's mouth). It'll be like squeezing blood from a stone. This could take a while.
