Based on a true story- I really AM freaked by childbirth after Orphan. Man I will never go into a hospital again. XD

Don't get used to it, mpreg really scares the heck out of me. XD;

The first ten minutes were EASILY the scariest. The rest wasn't scary so much as neat... and the end sort of ruined it. <.< Oh well. Go see it anyway, the acting's really good.

Sigh...I can relate to irrational fears. I'm scared that what I see in this world isn't the same as what everyone else sees and that my memory has been tampered with. VERY irrational fears, but they are there.

It's okay, first ten minutes are definitely the freakiest. Acting was good, and the movie was okay until the 'twist' at the end. XD; That totally ruined it..

But there is always adopting which is FANTASTIC despite what that movie tells you. I know this gay couple who adopted a little girl and they're the cutest little family. X3

adoption has the downside of if, and when, the parents want their child back. For a gay couple, because of their orientation, they won't win the case in court. However, if said adopted child is sixteen or over, I believe they're allowed to choose who they live with.

This gets extra funny because you think the "funny panel" has been done when she says "you don't even have a fucking uterus" and then the real punch line arrives (for me who isn't 100% familiar with the characters)

I've worked in a hospital, so I'm quite familiar with accidents that happen. There is a low percentage of anesthesia awareness, not likely at all, but still a chance.

There's also cases where operation is needed immediately without anesthetic, or it is too late to use a nerve block or any form of pain control. That last bit scares me.
