My vague headcanon that I told the person adopting them was....
"They have a toy mouse for their cutie mark. They were a pretty late bloomer, but luckily Minx never seemed to give a care. Finally when being doted on by a loving partner she was jokingly doing some kitty play for them, in a moment of utter bliss, her cutie mark appeared! Ever since then, she's become a permanent kitty-pet, a companion, a casual annoyance, but usually as a lover. She coaxes and is there 100% for her companions while they care and dote over her."
