Mugging
Jeane leaned against the wall at the fast food restaurant, watching the last few customers making their orders.
There were a few in particular that she had her eye on. A large lycanroc with broad shoulders who kept licking his lips. A female meowth wearing a purple sweater. An ekans who seemed to be having trouble deciding what he wanted. Any of them could be trouble.
Fortunately, each ordered their meal without incident, and the young male eevee at the register took each order with a smile. Once they were all finished, the eevee punched a few buttons on the register, then disappeared into the back as a female shinx came out to take his place.
Jeane waited for a few minutes more, and the eevee came back out, this time missing his apron (though he still wore the collared shirt emblazoned with the logo of the restaurant) and carrying a plastic bag. A delicious aroma wafted from it.
"Hi, Jeane!" He said, waving as he walked up to her. "Thanks for coming! You know I probably could have walked home on my own."
The female espeon put her hand on Eevee's head, ruffling the fur between his ears. "Yeah, well, I don't like the idea of you walking home by yourself when you're on the late shift."
Eevee batted her hand away. "C'mon, sis, you're embarrassing me!"
"Isn't that my job?" Jeane asked with a smile. "Let's get going."
The street outside was quiet at this time of night. The full moon hung low and bright in the sky -- the street lights were almost unnecessary.
"I still wish they'd put glass in front of the registers," Jeane said. "Waving food around in front of all those hungry predators is bad enough as it is."
"Jeane," Eevee said, "there's never been a problem."
"Maybe not, but it's asking for trouble," Jeane said. "I don't want you to be the one there the first time there is a problem."
Eevee huffed, his ears drooping. Then they perked back upright. "I got my paycheck today!"
"Oh! That's great! Any idea what you're going to get with it?" They turned a corner into a park. Cutting across it would cut a good five minutes off the walk home.
"Not sure, I was kind of thinking... huh?"
Eevee stopped, mostly because Jeane had stopped as well and held out a hand in front of him.
"Jeane? What's...?"
Jeane shushed him, then peered into the darkness.
They were in a small plaza, with a stone floor and low walls around the perimeter. The park didn't have as much lighting as the street, and at this time of night, it was completely deserted. Or at least, it should have been. The fur on the back of Jeane's neck stood on end.
"Alright, who's out there?"
A giggle came from the nearby shadows, and two forms coalesced, stepping out in front of them.
They were small, perhaps even smaller than Eevee. The two slender girls had cream-colored fur, and wore matching jeans and tank tops. In fact, if it weren't for the fact that the markings on the ears and cheeks were blue on one of them and red on the other, Jeane wouldn't have been able to tell them apart.
"Oh, look, sis, I guess she spotted us," the plusle said.
"Yes, she definitely did," the minun answered.
"Well, guess we'll get straight to the point, then," the plusle continued. "If you want to come through our park, you'll have to pay a toll."
Jeane raised an eyebrow. "A toll?"
"We just heard you talking about getting a paycheck," the minun said. "If you just hand it over, no one has to get hurt."
"Is this a joke?" Jeane asked.
"What?" The plusle looked confused. "No, it's not a..."
"I mean, it's a check," Jeane said. "What, do you think you're going to take it to the bank and cash it?"
"Well, maybe we'll..."
Jeane interrupted her. "Look, isn't it past your bedtime? Why don't you both run along home."
The twins looked shocked, turning their heads to look at each other for a moment. Then, as one, their expressions turned angry. Both reached into their pockets and pulled out small metal objects. With a pair of flicks, they were revealed to be switchblades.
Jeane narrowed her eyes. "Guess we're really doing this, then. Eevee, stand back."
"What, are you kidding?" Eevee set the bag of food on the ground, then reached into his pocket and pulled out a large metal cylinder. "If we're fighting, I'm going to help."
"Eevee..." Jeane started, but it was already two late. The twin miscreants were advancing, knives at the ready. They were already pairing off, the plusle with Jeane and the minun with Eevee.
"Be careful, Eevee," Jeane warned. "There's something with these two. Don't take them lightly."
"Shut up!" The plusle shouted. She ran at Jeane, flailing her knife.
Jeane side-stepped, trying to move into a position to take the knife from the plusle, but she wasn't able to get close enough. The young girl clearly had no idea what she was doing, but if anything, that probably made her more dangerous, and Jeane didn't want to win the fight at the cost of a knife wound. She would need to be cautious and wait for an opening.
Across from her, Jeane could see Eevee's sword turn on, creating a beam of bluish light. The minun let out a yelp of surprise, falling back as Eevee swung it at her. A blow from the sword wouldn't be fatal, but the minun had no way of knowing that, and with the advantage of superior reach, Eevee would be able to keep his opponent at bay.
As she backpedaled, the minun kicked over the bag of food that Eevee had been carrying. The scent of fast food filled the area, and Jeane felt her stomach rumble. Damn, she should have just eaten before she came.
She shook her head; now was no time to get distracted. Satisfied that her brother was safe for the moment, Jeane turned her focus back to her own foe, who continued to wildly swing her knife. Jeane tried several times to move in to disarm, but each time she had to dodge back to avoid the flailing blade.
This was bad. Jeane was hoping this would be over quick; she needed to end the fight before...
"Stop!" The minun shouted, and she released a wave of electricity from her body. Eevee took the full brunt of it, and he let out a scream of pain, dropping to his knees. His sword clattered to the ground and turned off. Jeane could see his arm twitch as he tried to reach for it, but was unable to move.
He was paralyzed.
The plusle took advantage of Jeane's distraction to lunge again. Jeane was barely able to dodge, and she felt the knife brush the fur of her arm.
She glanced back over and saw the minun, her knife at the ready as she advanced on Eevee.
Damn it! This was supposed to just be a normal evening. How had it suddenly turned into a life and death struggle? Eevee was about to be killed unless Jeane did something to end this fight now.
The scent of the fast food hit Jeane's nose again, eliciting another rumble from her stomach.
Jeane didn't take the time to think it over: a path to end the fight presented itself, and she took it. As the plusle lunged at her again, she dodged the outstretched arm and moved in close. She opened her mouth wide, and letting the plusle's forward momentum help, she shoved the girl's head inside. She could feel the plusle's chin against her tongue.
The plusle let out a muffled shout of surprise as she found her head suddenly engulfed in the espeon's maw. She stabbed with the knife, trying to push it into Jeane's stomach.
This time, Jeane caught the plusle's wrist and twisted it. The knife clattered to the ground.
"Hey!"
As Jeane had hoped, she had caught the minun's attention. Rather than finish Eevee off, she was now rushing towards Jeane.
Jeane was ready for her. As the minun approaching, Jeane threw a leg out, hitting the minun's ankle and tripping her forward. Stretching her mouth as wide as possible, she shoved the minun's head inside, next to her sister's.
With a loud swallow, Jeane pulled both girls' heads into her throat.
She let out a groan of pain as the two squirming bodies were pulled into her mouth. Jeane didn't like doing this, and she wasn't exactly practiced at it. But she was committed now: if she let the two out, who knew what they would do? So she kept swallowing, slowly pulling the girls into her gullet.
Jeane's throat stretched out as the two bodies entered, their arms now trapped at their sides. They tried to kick, but their legs kept getting tangled together.
Soon Jeane was able to tilt her head back and let gravity help as she slurped up the two pairs of legs. The bulge in her throat gradually moved down. Finally, her teeth clicked shut behind four feet, and the squirming lump moved down her throat and settled in her belly.
Jeane gasped and staggered backward, catching herself against the stone wall of the plaza. Carefully, she lowered herself to the ground, letting her belly rest against the flagstones. She had never been this full before.
Jeane looked up to see her brother walking toward her. "Eevee! Are you okay?"
"Yeah, Jeane, I'm fine," he said, the paralysis obviously having worn off. "Are you okay? Did you really just eat both of those girls at once?"
Jeane looked down at her enormous gut. It writhed and moved as the twins inside struggled. "Yeah. I guess I did."
"How was that even possible? Have you ever--?"
Eevee's question was cut off as Jeane suddenly released a loud belch. She immediately covered her mouth, her face flushing.
Eevee stared at her for a moment, his eyes wide. Then he smiled, and then he started laughing.
Perhaps it was because they just so narrowly escaped such a dangerous situation. Or perhaps Jeane realized how ridiculous her current state must look. For whatever reason, Jeane couldn't stop herself from laughing, too.
"I guess... hehe... I guess I'll do anything to keep you safe," she said.
Wiping his eyes, Eevee knelt down next to Jeane and put a hand on her belly. The movement inside was already slowing down and being replaced by loud gurgles. "I admit, this is actually pretty cool," he said. "My sister, the predator."
"Don't get used to it," Jeane said, still smiling. "I'm not planning on making a regular habit of this."
"I dunno, maybe you should," Eevee teased. "See, you make a good bed." He closed his eyes and laid his head down on her furry belly.
"Okay, Eevee, very funny."
"Mmm."
"Eevee?" Jeane reached out and tapped his shoulder. "Are you actually asleep?"
Eevee responded with a few mumbled words that Jeane couldn't make out.
Jeane sighed, reaching over to stroke her fingers through Eevee's hair. She supposed that a long day of work followed by a near-death experience would be enough to tire anyone out.
She shook her head, then, bracing herself against the wall, she pulled herself to her feet. She scooped her sleeping brother into her arms, then used her psychic power to pick up the back of food from the ground. Her large stomach swaying, she began walking towards the safety of home.

Nice to see these two come out on top this time! Eevee-lunice sure seems to like showing both his character's wins and losses.
Out of curiosity, does Jeane know any psychic attacks? This is the third story in which she's been in a fight, but she always sticks to physical attacks. In fact, I'm pretty sure that telekinetically lifting the spilled fast food was the first psychic thing she's done in one of these stories.

Yeah, Eevee-lunice wanted a story where his characters win for once!
I actually didn't end up mentioning it in the actual story, and you'd have to ask Eevee for more details since they're his characters, but my understanding is that Jeane has relatively weak psychic abilities that aren't very useful in combat (except for predicting what an opponent is going to do) so she's grown physically stronger to compensate. On top of that, her powers get weaker at night, which compounds the situation even further at the moment (which is why she picked up Eevee with her muscles and just a bag of fast food with her powers.)

I mean, hey, Kelly kicked Isabella the meowstic's ass, didn't she? X3
And yes, Jeane is mostly physical. She knows a few psychic moves, but, trained herself physically, switching her 135 sp. atk and 65 atk stats. Her psychic powers are for very niche situations, like Psyshock to create small spikes to chip away at enemies, or telekinesis to pick up light objects, other than that, it's mainly punches, suplexes, throws, etc, and some kicks now and again. And like Jay said, her powers grow weaker at night, making them even less powerful.
