This short story might contain spoilers for the game: Angels With Scaly Wings
If you haven't played the game and do not want anything ruined for you, just in case, then you might want to wait until doing so.
Same deal as before and always; if you've made it this far, you probably know what's to expect (spoiler-wise). Other than that, Killing Floor 2 and Starbound still. Though I want to get through AC: Black Flag at some point. I just have to get away from SB long enough to try it. I'm not sure why I find the game fun, I just can't explain it. Then again, I also found Harvest Moon fun-does anyone even remember Harvest Moon? That SNES game about farming? I mean, they came out with others, but I always found that the sequels weren't as good as the original, likely due to the socialization the game forces on you. Seriously, it's a game about farming, and interacting with the NPCs is the Chore of the damn game. You done goofed Natsume.
Otherwise, feel free to jump into this one.

Yayyyy, a new act complete- how long ago was the last one? The 7th? Well, I don't feel so bad now. I was thinking it was before Xmas. Still, no naughty stuff again. Sorry to disappoint, but I'm not sure if it will return. Give me a reason/interest in it, then it'll likely happen. I mean, they might be trapped on a spaceship, but that doesn't mean I can't do flashbacks or something, I donno.
Still, this is about 25-26 pages of story. I hope it didn't leave on any form of a cliffhanger, but things will make sense soon enough. Might be a while before the next one, whereas my writing situation didn't improve yet. Regardless, enjoy these when they come around. But I'm almost losing interest in this series, because it seems like no one else is interested it after I stopped the adultery. If you are, Say Something. That's what keeps this series alive: you guys. A Favorite is nice, but it doesn't show much interest. It doesn't tell me what I'm doing right or wrong, what you guys want to see, etc.

Seriously, from the bottom of my heart, Pad. This just made my week
I almost found it a little weird to use myself as the 'main character' in the series, but it was supposed to be based off my own experiences. My own thoughts on the story and it's ending (like you, I didn't enjoy the true one and felt like there needed to be some... 'edits' to feel more personal). The issue I knew from the gate was: for everyone who read the series, they're reading it from my own perspective. My own choices that I would like to make, which is far different from their own playthrough. There is someone who did actually make a Second Person View of Bryce's last date that was done very well, even (https://www.furaffinity.net/view/22583112/ There it is, had to do some searching!)
But again, I can understand that there's now this disconnect from those who enjoyed playing the game, let alone not really liking this series as a whole. Because it's not continuing with them as the MC, but... Me. Making my own silly choices, reading my own misanthropic ideals, and of course, me having that 'long awaited Fun time' with the character they liked the most.
Yet, I've never really gotten a single negative comment about my work, so maybe that's just my pessimism looking at the results. I've seen a few tiny things here and there: Act 4 being too short (in which I added I think 9 pages soon after it was released), and making the end to act 12 more clear on what happened with Maverick (more or less, if he actually died or not).
Lorem is actually my favorite character out of the main five, and who's ending I wanted to make around his, but... People honestly asked for Bryce. At first I thought I was just going to go through some part of the main story, visiting scenes like playing through the game. Yet, that felt predictable, and I didn't like that. Not to mention that Lorem's endings were very unsatisfying ("leaving without a goodbye" type of deal), which is why I wrote the first act to begin with. I know I didn't do much with him in this series, I honestly wanted to do more, but... At least he gets more screen time than some others (Adine, for one. Not that I don't like her, but she is my least favorite out of the five). I'm actually curious about your top five main and side characters (Side can even be those without any 'dates')
I definitely hear you about the Human thing, though I can't really say I've felt like a 'Polar Bear trapped in a Human body', but I never really felt Human. This also goes for the sense of communication/community as well. I kinda blame this on the SPD thing, but even in the furry fandom I never felt like I belonged. Though, I do feel more... 'Accepted' whereas most of them are not human either. Not to mention, many of them are pretty 'interesting to look at'. [/perv] Still, many of their choices and attractions (humans or furries alike) are ones that don't quite make a lot of sense to me, Gender and Sexuality are just one of them.
I'll finish SOT, at least until this season (3) is finished without any cliffhangers. It'll just be a couple of acts, and it might take a while to get complete, but it will be finished and posted on FA. I can't say anywhere else, because every other site is completely vacant of any response (at this moment at least). Just... Sometimes you gotta snap to get what you need, you gotta make it sting for them to remember that remaining silent hurts people.
As for your companions, I won't force them in any way, but all the sites I post on are free to sign up. Though it could be a different issue that might be delaying them: be it their device doesn't open rtf files (in which I am slowly posting txt files that FA will open up, just without any formating), SoFurry will automatically open them up for you on the page for you to read. If you're looking for pdf files, Weasyl works wonders, but it could be something else entirely (lack of privacy, for example). Still, there are options to explore for all my works. I think at first the Winter Meta stories were only here, but I believe I posted them as well last autumn on other sites.
Once again, thank you Pad It'll be a while before act 22 is done (maybe two or three weeks. Damn colds) but rest assure that it is being worked on. Until then, if you like, you can get a start on Wrong Side Of Heaven or any other story I have up. SOT's writing is rather similar to my others, just without the characters you likely know of from another series =X
