i've got a couple d&d characters who are in high risk situations rn, so i've drawn up a potential replacement, an aarakocra cleric!
anyway i haven't decided on a name yet. she comes from an aarakocra village where names are decided by feats, features, or professions, so maybe something like foxheart or swiftwing? she's defended her village from foxes, which are a real danger to aarakocra children out on the tundra, but idk. i'll figure it out ig!
tho swiftwing does sound more like a sparrow or something... maybe a starling... next aarakocra idea...?

im also a fan of like.. single word names though? reminds me of tiefling virtue names? so you could maybe do something like "hero" or "compassion" or "selfless" or "protection" (but that might be more My Taste tbh)

Those are cool name too, but I have a tiefling rn with a virtue name and I’m feelin somethin else right now. I’m thinking smthn like Flora Foxbane? A good old fashioned d&d name, I haven’t done one like this since my verse first (who was called Nova fawnheart).
I’m not playing her yet, just keeping her on standby! In both the campaigns I’m in rn, both characters are currently running a high risk of death, so I’ve made this owl cleric to stand in for one if need be. If not, then she’s here for my next campaign! I’ve got another friend about the start one, so she might be in action sooner rather than later.

i get you i get you!! that sounds both cool AND cute!! i've always been all over the place with my dnd characters but thats because i get SUPER invested in worldbuilding haha
thats neat though, but also GOOD LUCK.. dont die (unless you want to) that sounds fun though!! ive only ever played a dungeon world cleric so im not super familiar with dnd (5e?) clerics other than. what i know from the adventure zone. but still haha

my concept for flora (yeaaa that name is sticking on me) is grumpy doctor mom. the more i think abt her the more excited i am to play her.... is it bad if i'm tempted to let one of my others die? LMAO
ye ye this'll be my first time playin a cleric! i'm not too familiar w them either but i really wanna branch out my classes (i usually gravitate towards monks; they're so fun!) and also i like the idea of a warrior healer. kicking ass AND mending ass? what a deal!
