Say hello to Scáth! My third suit, made in about three weeks, debuted at Further Confusion 2018. It was a mad flail to get him done in time for the con, but I think it all turned out pretty well. I had a huge amount of fun performing with him. The suit uses a Skypro headbase courtesy of the wonderful Ino (Telephone), which is a big part of how great it came out.
Scáth is a Dutch Angel Dragon. He was designed to be something of a reformed "lost" Dutchie. Hence his coloring is mostly dark gray and black, though with orange flashes and highlights to mark his return to a happier place.
It's a lot of work performing as Scáth-- the dragon is always set to 11, but it's so much fun I'll do it until I literally drop.
The suit also features a LED halo which is usually worn at night.
The name Scáth is pronounced "Sk-oh" or "scar" without the "r". It's a gaelic word meaning shadow.
