I'm back after many months away, and better than ever! 2017 had some rather crappy things happen for me personally, but I'm determined to improve my faults and learn from my mistakes, so I'm focusing on the good! Such as, for example, this lovely little thing you see here that took me a whopping two days to complete. While that's a horrible amount of time to spend on one image as simple as this, I'll say it's been about 6 months or so since I've drawn...well, anything really. BUT THAT'S OK, YES, because now I'm incredibly excited to draw again, and I think that's gonna help me make things I'm satisfied with, and help me constantly improve my skills.
UFOtable company illustrations were my big inspiration for this piece, as well as in general ever since I was younger. Their animation quality and style really encouraged and motivated me to create my own characters and develope my skills as an artist, and it's a style I've tended to gravitate to when I've had difficulties and such with drawing. I've decided that I wanna pursue that same quality this year, and mix it with my own style a little bit, and just enjoy the process and results.
So, with that out of the way, GREAT NEWS: I finally have a pen again (courtesy of the lovely
NightSwing), and am considering opening up commissions in the near future. It'll depend on how my job-hunting goes, to be honest, and, should I become an employee somewhere, how my hours treat me, so it's not a done decision yet.However, IF I do open up, my main focus will be this style here, as it's something I've wanted to do for some time, yet only felt confident with recently. Just a little something to keep in mind.
On another note, the current internet I usually use now doesn't work, so please be patient with me in case I don't show up for days on end. At the moment I'm using phone internet, but it's such a runaround process with uploading art that I can say I won't be doing commissions until I get Internet back for the laptop, not to mention I'm having to relearn my tablet settings since the new pen doesn't read my previous ones, rrrrrgh.
Anyway, I hope you guys are well so far this new year!

As far as this picture goes it's amazzinnnggg. The overall atmosphere is awesome and very relaxing. Magnus' expression seems so honest, genuine, and at peace with what's going on. I also love the details in the wings. eugh. You just never fail to go far and beyond. <3333 Can't wait to see more of your art and please feel free to message me whenever your internet is working. uvu I'd love to catch up again!

I'm sorry I made you worry, I promise I didn't mean to *pets*.
