Beautifully written, and so sweet! Such is the kindness of strangers. I like the way you described the interactions between the couple through the eyes of the deaf boy, as actions do speak louder than words!

He's actually based off myself as I have moderate hearing loss; sometimes I catch myself watching people's actions or trying to lip read conversations out of curiosity, which is what inspired this plotline! It's always interesting experiencing something through someone else's eyes, isn't it? :)

No worries! I really appreciate well written and emotive prose, especially with stories about the kindness of strangers, so this was a lovely read. I have some hearing problems myself though I don't think I can ever lip read ^^
