Ruler tool, it helps with them straight lines! Also could use more black in the backgrounds, they are bit plain, maybe cast some shadows off off the furnishing. and make roof black in first panel so it gets more dramatic weight.

If you're going with a cartoonish look, don't worry so much about shadows. The drawings themselves allow for bright happy colors (I LOVE the top one, btw. It's so happy!) I would love to see this with more cartoonish unrealistic proportions for the furniture- like something out of Rocko's Modern Life or Mickey Mouse :3 But that's what I feel just from seeing the proportions of the top panel. Even the sketchy bottom roundish cartoon proportions make such a happy pic that I would love to see with color.
