Perhaps, but a lot of dwarfs get raw deals, from what I understand.
He was in Ghoulies 2, and some Full Moon productions pic that had classic monsters (Dracula, Wolf Man, Mummy, etc) magically made real, but at pint size, so they were all played by dwarves. Phil was Dracula.
Warwick Davis has a lot of roles, due to his performance as Willow, though now a lot of his roles, when not playing the Leprechaun, have been bit parts. Verne Troyer gets a lot of his roles thanks to Mike Meyers, it seems.
Then we have the late Billy Barty. He was fun! He played Gwildor in the Masters of the Universe movie, as well as Screwball in the movie Legend.
He was the actor to fight for rights of little folk in and out of the movie industry.
He was one of the first dwarves to come out and explin how 'midget' is a very derrogitory term, much like any racial slur, or slur against religious beliefs, or sexual preference. Little Person, or dwarf, is preferred by many.
Of course, I consider it more like the slur 'cracker', as I don't see that as being offensive, and I've known dwarfs who don't find the word midget offensive. So I guess it varies from dwarf to dwarf. *shrugs*
