As previously mentioned: I decided to extend Knuckles’ short story with an additional two pages! Major credit goes to Yggd for a very inspiring comment he made that helped support this idea Cheers to you, my good man!
When we last left our shrunken hero, Knuckles found himself in immediate peril as his colossal-sized mother took a giant step forward! Knuckles narrowly avoids getting flattened by the skin of his teeth, but he’s not fast enough to avoid the next incoming step Things certainly look bleak for the miniature echidna, and just as a sudden realization occurs to him, the thundering thud sound of Lara-Le’s enormous sandaled foot landing right on top of Knuckles...seemingly spells the end for our shrunken hero! But...is it really?

Thanks for the shout-out, but you totally didn't have to go and do that. :P The finished product looks great, of course. Very much looking forward to the rest and now I'm also looking forward to that alternate turnout you mentioned in another comment!
