originally, my idea had been to create this sort of elder rabbit god type character, but then I realized I couldn't draw old looking things for crap and the design just plain wasn't turning out the way I wanted it, so I decided to try for a younger character instead. Thus the original model became "Grandpa," the former lunar rabbit deity, and young Prince Haro was the new guardian in training, so to speak...

As the story would go, Haro was being a spoiled snotty little brat, shirking off his responsibilities, and generally causing a lot of mischief in the lunar lands. Gramps wasn't having any of it, so as punishment, he banished Haro to the surface of the Earth, forbidding him from returning until he had changed his tune and started acting like a true guardian.
