"Flinters?"
"Yes?"
"Did you just nail my horn?"
"Maybe?"
"Get a hammer and pul it out."
"You aren't going to kill me?"
"Can you use a hammer if you are dead?"
"So I'm not in trouble?"
"Yes, yes you are. But this is a union shop, so I'll just go through the complaint process. May help if you take the nail back out."

first of all there's worse places that you can end up with a nail.
However I admittedly find it Unusual to figure out the mechanics of how this took place given a nail gun doesn't work anything the same as a regular gun. That's why I keep wondering how the hell you always see things like various movies where you see somebody firing a nail gun similar to the way you would use a regular gun. Every nail gun I've ever used well not simply fire the nail through the air part of a gun has to be firmly placed against a surface in order for the nail to come out of the gun been that way ever since I can remember and I don't know of any way to deactivate that feature so that the nails will simply fire of when you squeeze the trigger some of them that I've seen even require you to physically slam thy gun against something on top of squeezing the trigger. That's why I always wonder in these various zombie games or action movies how the hell they are getting the nails to come flying out like that lol. Would be pretty difficult to put a nail in somebody's horns accidentally.

Theater people are past masters on using technology in ways the original inventors never imagined. Defeating the safety on nail guns is low on the difficulty scale. If you want something hard to do, try setting water on fire. (See the chemistry blog "Things I Will Not Work With. FOOF for how to kill yourself doing it. )
Well, depending on what exactly you mean by "set water on fire", that's not too hard. Most fuel oils (like petrol and kerosene) are less dense than water, and as such, will float if you're reasonably gentle about pouring. Add a match, and you've lit water on fire. Otherwise, it's not too hard to get your hands on things like elemental/metallic sodium, potassium, or lithium (though expensive).
actually setting water on fire isn't a difficulty it's a chemical reaction. I forget if it's a type of methane gas or what you mix with water I know there's a town here in Canada I think it's sulfur in the water. You can't drink the water and if you bring a open flame within roughly 6 inches of a running water The water will burst into a large fireball they literally get it on a news report somebody brought a zippo lighter up close to the water and the Started pumping out fire as if gasoline was coming out of the tap lol. It's just something that's always negative at the is Neil Gunz you constantly see it as a staple in various movies and zombie games somebody grabs a staple gun and starts going on a killing spree with it usually while they're being shot at by bad guys with real guns they just pick something up off the ground and magically they can fire and kill people with nails just like a regular gun. I keep finding myself wondering exactly how the hell this is accomplished without doing quite a bit of like you mentioned screwing around with the device. It's not like there's a 10 or 15 min. seen where somebody might drivers safety on the nail gun it's always that classic they picked it up and start shooting people. I've lost track of how many zombie movies where somebody goes into a hardware store and grabs a nail gun loads it up and start going at it. I was technically trying to make a joke where on a construction site it would be very difficult to accidentally put a nail in somebody like in the case of this picture he would've had to physically put the nail gun right up against his coworkers horn and go through whatever activation procedure is necessary for the gone to function. I'm sure there's a lovely interesting explanation for how it was accidental. Still makes for a funny gag.
Don't try this at home put if you pull the pressure plate thing bavk with your fingers you can shoot nails by pulling the trigger. Smart people can probably figure out a way to rig it so that it works whenever. (Because thats a good way to mess up a finger) Or perhaps the old ones didnt have that feature. I don't own one so i don't have all the details on me.
ironically since we started this little discussion I was watching a very cheaply done film school project type independent film about a week or so back trying to are member the name of it I think it was called they look like people. Or they look like us something like that. No point in me ruining the plot of the story by explaining the movie. At any rate the guy thought a bunch of crap was going to hit the fan and set himself up with a homemade zombie defense kit and at one point thought about killing himself and tried to shoot himself with the nail gun which needless is they wouldn't work I think initially he tried shooting himself in the hand or something like that trying are member the exact scene of the movie .wall he in another scene took the safety off of the nail gun. It's the first time I ever seen them shows somebody's throwing around with a nail gun using it like a weapon and nothing happening until they basically went to the trouble to show the character removing the safety device from the nail gun and then firing nails around like bullets. Usually you just see a character drama nail gun from a hardware store and start shooting people with it lol. You'd be surprised how many zombie movies that somebody comes out with a nail gun and start shooting with it right October hardware store shelves. Trying to are member the name of the Japanese animation series I think it was called zombie high where a group of high school students card stock in outbreak zone and one of them was running around with nail guns acting like Bruce Willis. It's actually become that common of a bit in zombie movies that they did it in a animated movie lol.
You almost never see the character modifying the gun however before they start shooting things with it. It's basically been a pet peeve of mine for years whatever you see somebody get shot with a nail gun and you don't see any explanation for the nail gun being modified first.
