Got to be honest this was going to happen sooner or later to Ralph considering how many people, food, items, and etc... He's eaten in the game, now with a gut like that all he has to do is climb on top of a build and belly flop in order to break it to the ground.

Hasn't this plot already been used in natural horror movies?
If you ask me, a twist could have been added, like the three monsters were really formerly humans; however, they haven't become monsters accidentally, but they've been paid by a biomedical engineering company to kill certain "undesirable" people while destroying that part of the city where they live, so those people would have been considered just random casualties.
These three humans could have accepted the money because of financial/legal problems.
Also, the movie could take itself not too seriously.
