The Drummer Bear sold today, so I thought I'd share her to celebrate!
Tom-tom-tom... tappa-tap-tap... The blind bear communes with the heartbeat of the earth. She sits upon her mountaintop, listening to the world below with sensitive ears.
This one-of-a-kind piece of artwork sports a body needle felted by hand entirely out of wool, with sturdy, detailed nose sculpted from polymer clay. and glass eyes. Her soft body is felted over a wire skeleton. Her drum is made with leather scraps, beads, and repurposed plastic lid.
SIZE: 8" tall, stone is 5" wide
