AHHHH this turned out so well! Kijani playing with a rambunctious lion cub at sunset in Africa by the amazing  latex - seriously commission this guy! He's awesome, always open and really easy to work with.

Backstory behind this piece: As many of you may know, I will be fulfilling a lifelong dream this October when I venture to Africa for the first time to volunteer for 2 weeks at a wildlife reserve in South Africa, getting to work closely with and help care for all kinds of animals including the more than 70 lions on property.

Some of the activities in the program include feeding, caring for and interacting with lion cubs and a 45-minute walk with an adolescent lion. I know it will be the highlight of my life and I can't imagine a better piece of art to commemorate this upcoming trip.
