so leomon survived after dying in digimon tri?


i know leomon is gone for good. but it is nice to see fans giving him the love toei never gave him

When a digimon dies in the real world it does not go back to primary village, which was where leomon was resurrected after being milled by metaletemon.
But the digital world was resetted after tentomon mega digivolved which means that all digimon, even those who were destroyed in the real world like leomon should come back to life, just like metalseadramon and machindramon
Think of it like this: you delete a program that came with the computer, never able to retrieve it, but if you then reset the pc, the program will be the afterwards, but just like a pc loses the information it has gained when it is resetted, the resurrected digimon loses their information, in form of their memories.

so...leomon is back...but still gone.....if they do it, because with the mess digimon tri is now....i just cant see it happening.

Pretty much. Odds are he's either wandering the digital world not knowing about Tai and CO. or he's in a weaker form.
Either way, he's there, just without memories like agumon and the others were when they reunited.

that would be great. again, it was very mean spirited how tri treated leomon, this season was supposed to be special, and instead, it is a mess of plots, and very mean spirited and fan_unfriendly writing. but, it ends soon, and that's okay, if leomon returns, cool.

Like I said, He should technically already be alive, just without memory...
What I'm curious about after this discussion is about the other digimon whose deaths had a major impact on characters or the show, Like chuumon, whamon, wizardmon or evil digimon like piedmon, myotismon, arukenimon or devimon.

As for leomon, I heard about 'sacrificial lion' but come on! I think he's competing with yamcha at this point. Didn't they do the same shit to splinter, too? It's like every show takes a character with much potential and put a bomb on them.
Kinda why i haven't watched the new tmnt.

dont get me started on that tmnt crap.....splinter was decoration, he was there, period. ciro nieli, the series' director, admitted he had no idea what to do with splinter....that kind of talent nickelodeon got to make a tmnt series...

as for the leomon trope, it worked only twice, the first time, cvus it was the first, and on tamers, when impmon ( a dick who deserved no redemption...he killed leomon cus he wanted to brag about his powers, so, yeah...impmon sucks.) but after that...it became a trope.....that translated to bancholeomon too.....

luckily, the mangas respect leomon way more, specially v-tamers. in there, leomon is the father figure and mentor he is supposed to be. you can tell mamoru hosoda is not involved on the manga's script....

Leomon's not dead anymore. He was revived after the digi-world was resetted, but he might be in another stage of divivolution. either a
tsunomon(in-training) or elecmon(rookie).
